Chicago Office Products Co. (COPCO) was formed in 2003 through a merger of ACRO Office Supply, Nold's Office Products and Desk Top Office Supply. ACRO Office Supply, owned by Ken Henderson, had been serving Chicagoland businesses since 1975. Nold's Office Products and Desk Top Office Supply, owned by Don Henderson, had also been serving the Chicago area since 1960.
The two brothers decided to join forces and combine the two companies in order to better serve their expanding customer bases. It was a fusion of local experience and industry know-how, creating a 55,000-product, single-source discount office supplier. The company was relocated to a new corporate distribution center in Bridgeview, Illinois.
